Craft your very own winter tonic during this Fire Cider guided workshop with owner Rachael Robertson. Explore Robertson’s Farm to learn about small-scale farming, and if available within the season, forage ingredients from the garden and surrounding area to add to your tonic. You will discuss the origins, adaptations and uses for making unique Fire Ciders to suit your tastes and availability of seasonal harvesting.
There will be an opportunity to shop in their small on-farm store of health and body care products focused on nature and the abundant gifts it offers

Calum and Rachael Robertson are Scottish expats living in rural Nova Scotia with their two boys Hamish and Fearghas.The family share their farm with 11 Highland cattle, who help work the land by nourishing the soil, providing them with beef and are non stop entertainment for the farms cattle herding dog ; Muireach, who is yet to actually excel at his current profession.Botanical formulations are Rachael's hearts desire. Encouraging people to experiment with lotions and potions from garden grown herbs, botanicals and vegetables is Rachael's favourite past time.
